DWA is committed to the preservation of democracy and its institutions, the protection of voting rights, and the support of progressive issues and candidates nationwide. Volunteers participate in political activities, provide public education, and work within coalitions to fight voter suppression and promote progressive legislative action. DWA is also committed to maintaining its "roots" as a grassroots organization and to engage those who share our mission.
